Terms of Sale
1. Scope
These terms apply to all orders placed through the Frames page of 444 Design Corp for framed editions and unframed prints. Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Products
Framed Edition — museum-grade archival print (rated 100+ years), black metal frame, hanging hook included, and a numbered certificate of authenticity with QR code.
Unframed Print — museum-grade archival print only, without frame or certificate.
Both lines are available in A4 (210 × 297 mm) and A2 (420 × 594 mm). Every artwork is numbered; framed editions receive a unique artwork number.
3. Pricing
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. The price charged is the one confirmed at the moment of payment; prices may be updated between visits. 444 Design Corp reserves the right to change prices at any time, subject to the price confirmed at checkout.
4. Ordering & Payment
Orders are placed through Stripe Checkout and confirmed by email. The confirmation contains your order number — keep it. Payment card data is processed entirely by Stripe; 444 Design Corp never stores or sees card details.
5. Certificate of Authenticity
Certificates are issued for framed editions only. Each certificate carries two codes:
- Order number — 15 digits, sent in the order confirmation email.
- Artwork number — 15 characters, printed on the paper certificate shipped with the framed edition.
The certificate's QR code encodes both numbers (never your email). You can verify any certificate at Prove Authenticity. Keep your codes and your purchase email safe: proof is never re-sent by email.
6. Production & Delivery
Framed editions are made to order. Your delivery address and email are collected at checkout to arrange production and delivery. Production and delivery times are indicative; a delay does not justify cancellation.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Under the European Consumer Rights Directive you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For goods made to the consumer's specifications — framed editions made to order — the withdrawal exception applies; they remain covered by the defect guarantees below. Unframed prints may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unopened and in original condition; return shipping is borne by you. To withdraw, use the contact form; refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the return.
8. Damaged or Defective Goods
If a framed edition or print arrives damaged or defective, contact 444 Design Corp within a reasonable time with photographs. Replacement or refund will be issued, including any return shipping.
9. Liability
444 Design Corp guarantees the authenticity of every artwork as recorded in the authenticity database. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the order. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which 444 Design Corp is established. If you are a consumer, the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence always apply. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
